Hi everyone, I think that is what these kittens should have been called, because that is who they remind me of. All the time they are awake they are hiding and pouncing on each other, from anywhere and everywhere, behind TV, sofa, doors, on top of wardrobes, sinks, the bath, window sills, inside cupboards, wardrobes and the list goes on. They are the most delightful, entertaining and delicious creatures. They have stopped for the moment and doing a spot of bird watching from the window! Much love E x

Wanted to say hello and thank you to Margaret Hartigan at Clifford House Bed and Breakfast in Ros Lair harbour, I also met the lovely Mittens a rescue kitten found by her son who lives there now. Sadly didn’t have more time to chat. Your hospitality and kindness just huge and I will certainly see you again and highly recommend you and your beautiful and welcoming home. Many thanks Margaret. Bramble and Twiglet

Hello everyone, aren’t they just the loveliest of names for two gorgeous animals, Bramble is daschund and Twiglet is a black cat with white stripe on her nose. . They are both pretty old and sleep most of the time. Bramble can’t manage the outside steps up in to the garden with her little short legs so she has to be helped up and then carried upstairs at night. She can’t last all night with her toilet either so she woke me up at 2.30am and again at 4am to go out. Twiglet often gets in to Bramble’s big bed and Bramble has to go and try and fit into tiny little cat bed and she spills out of it on to wooden floor. So funny to watch. Twiglet has very superior look on her face when she is in the dog’s bed almost rubbing her paws with glee at getting one over on the dog. My room is at top of house up SEVEN!! flights of stairs, my thigh muscles are killing me. Have made a cottage pie for owners return then I go to another part of Surrey to look after a regular boy of mine, a lovely ginger cat, who hasn’t moved, I hear, from his fleece bed that hangs on the radiator, since the heating was put on. It’s a hard life for some. So I am all ready just waiting for owners to return and watching some rugby with Twiglet asleep on my lap. She’s as warm as toast. Speak soon lots love E x
